Liberate Meditation: Liberate is a meditation app for the Black, Indigenous, and People of
Color community. Content is specifically geared toward experiences of Black people,
Indigenous people, and people of color. It is available on Android and iPhone.
Shine: “They are a Black-owned app, with more than 600 guided meditations, morning
inspiration texts, customizable mental health tool kits and community forums.”
Stop Breathe and Think: “We are the emotional wellness platform for the “under 25”
generation. At Stop, Breathe & Think, we believe that when more people find peace of
mind, it makes the world a better place. Our mission is to help kids, teens and young
adults build the emotional strength to tackle life’s ups and downs.”
Sowlmate: “LGBTQ+ self-care app. Together with LGBTQ psychologists, we create
audio courses and mindfulness practices helping within various contexts: from being
rejected by the family to embracing a new gender identity.”
Healthy Minds Program: free app dedicated to making meditation accessible to all
