AboutĀ me
Hi, IāmĀ Tara
Ā
I canāt wait toĀ support you in connecting to your inner strength and wisdom!

My life has been a journey of inner and outer exploration. I value listening, trusting and following your heart to live your most authentic life.
Ā
As a meditation practitioner and teacher, I have worked to be of benefit to others through mentoring, empowering, and offering my genuine presence. I walk this path alongside you through exploration, compassion, learning, and growth.
Ā
As a helping professional I have navigated burn-out, compassion fatigue, harmful working environments and the challenges that arise from person-in-system dynamics.
Ā
As a fellow human, I have journeyed through personal grief, spiritual exploration, questions of belonging, and loss of heart. These experiences have taught me the importance of creating boundaries, self-compassion, identifying and practicing self-nurturing and seeking social connection and supports. It is from this lens that I engage with you on your therapeutic journey.
My Methods
I offer tools, skills, and guidance for personal healing, self-compassion, presence, connection, and clarity. I utilize creativity, collaboration, and safety in all the work I engage in.
Ā
I am Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 2 trained, a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher through the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. I have worked as an administrator at a meditation retreat center serving hundreds of participants each year. I am a meditation instructor within the Shambhala Buddhist lineage and have had my own personal meditation practice since 2008.
Ā
I am interested in Mindful Leadership and developing healthy workplace and community environments.
